Try Not to Get Seasick

It’s time to set sail when you take part in Ship Simulator Extremes. This is one of the newest sim games to be released and offers players the chance to take part in a wide range of aquatic adventures. Find out if the game will satisfy your desire for adventure or if it will just make you seasick by reading the review.

There are dozens of popular sim games out right now and although they cover a diverse range of different subjects, one thing most of them have in common is great graphics that help make the game come to life. Sadly, this is not the case with Ship Simulator Extremes. The graphics are very flat and one dimensional and gamers may feel like they are being letdown a little here.

Fortunately, the ships themselves have been created in great detail and there is a wide range of different ships to choose from. People who are in search of aquatic adventure will be able to take part in a wide range of missions that vary in their scope and setting as players advance through the game. However, many of these missions seem rather similar to each other and players may be faced with a slight feeling of déjà vu.

The multiplayer mode adds a whole new dimension to the game and helps to set Ship Simulator Extremes apart from other sim games. Instead of simply exploring the vast game world alone and trying to figure what to do, gamers can actually team up with their buddies or compete against them if they prefer.

There are plenty of new thrills and challenges awaiting gamers as they advance. In addition, gamers are given full control of their ship and will be able to take the wheel quite literally as well as the rest of the controls as they guide their ship to port. It isn’t all smooth sailing though, as pirates and other hazards lie in wait.

Players who are able to get past the rather poor graphics are sure to have a lot of fun playing Ship Simulator Extremes. Although the missions can be a bit boring and repetitive, there is plenty to do in this game and the game play is very varied.

Pros

  • The ships are very detailed
  • Wide range of options to choose from
  • The multiplayer mode is a lot of fun

Cons

  • Missions can be a bit repetitive
  • Environments leave a lot to be desired
